And you are the only person, place or thing you really have any control over, which means you have more agency than you think to solve your problems. You may have serious hardships and circumstances but that doesn’t change the fact that you are the only thing you can control and chances are that if you change, a lot about the world around you will seem to change as well. Remember the old adage about the three jerks. If you run into one jerk in a day, that’s unfortunate. If you run into two jerks that is really an unlucky day.
