Listen "4-25-23: How to dominate in ping pong with no arms"
Episode Synopsis
I would love to hear from you, just send me text and let me know what you think of the podcast.Yesterday’s story was about a boy who almost lost his legs and today’s story is about a boy who lost his arms. Ibrahim Hamadtou lost his arms in a train accident as a little boy. Luckily in the village he grew up in in Egypt they loved soccer and table tennis. Naturally, you would assume a kid with no arms would play soccer, which he did, but Ibrahim was also enamored with table tennis. Unfortunately, a prerequisite to play the sport is holding a paddle and to do that you need arms and hands right? Wrong, because Ibrahim started playing by holding the paddle in his mouth! Today he competes in professional competitions for disabled athletes and he is incredible. Check out the video below to be inspired.
