This week, we sit down with contributing editor Aleksandra Gadzala Tirziu to discuss China’s global ambitions. Ms. Tirziu is an expert on foreign affairs, with an emphasis on U.S.-China and China-Africa relations, China’s global ambitions, innovation, technologies for economic development, and geopolitics.Ms. Tirziu is a graduate of the University of Oxford, where she earned her PhD and MPhil in Politics, as well as Northwestern University. Born in Europe and raised in the American Midwest, Aleksandra has lived and worked in six countries across three continents. She is a lecturer at the University of Zurich and a fellow at the Atlantic Council.
