I didn't relate to Madhavi's story of abuse, or Harshita's tragic life in the orphanage, or even the horrifying case of the serial killer. My childhood was safe, ordinary and even happy. But as I turned the pages, I realized maybe that's exactly the point. This book is not just about finding pieces of yourself in the stories."
