Prophetic scriptures could apply to the real time crisis in Israel today because of the October 7 attacks by murdering armies from the south. In this episode we look at prophecies in Psalm 83, Jeremiah 49 and Isaiah 17 concerning God’s plan for Israel and therefore a blueprint for our prayers. Psalm 83:3-4 speaks of the complete removal of enemy attackers whose brutal and unprovoked attacks compare to God’s earlier outcomes like two examples in the book of Judges. Like Gideon’s utter wipe-out defeat of the Midianites and like Deborah’s complete annihilation of Sisera’s attacking army.
