Whether in personal conversations or broader societal contexts via media, the prevailing social and cultural tones are initially driven by emotions. Recognizing this can empower us to pause before reacting emotionally, allowing us to redirect our inner dialogue and change our emotional state. Timing plays a crucial role in this process.
