Stiftung Datenschutz (Foundation for Data Protection) was established by the German Federal Government in 2013. The non-profit incorporated foundation offers a neutral forum for debates around effective and efficient data policy and develops recommendations for privacy politics.
We will have a look at the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation, better known as the GDPR: How has it influenced data protection worldwide? How is data protection handled in other parts of the world? How can we establish international standards? And what will happen next?
