Prof Richard Boothby is a professor of philosophy at Loyola University Maryland who works in psychoanalysis, philosophical psychology, phenomenology, existentialism, and contemporary continental philosophy. He is the author of Death and Desire, Freud as Philosopher, Blown Away and numerous other books.
