Send us a textAll throughout the Bible, we see garden imagery that show that God is the source of all life. In Episode 20 we discussed that the River of the Water of Life flows directly from God’s throne and is full of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit infused river waters the Tree of Life. Because of this, every atom, every cell, every leaf, and all the fruit of the tree is bursting with life. The branches have leaves that heal the relationship between God and humanity and they yield fruit each month to bring nourishment for eternal life. That has not changed.Man decided he wanted to usurp God’s place and this led to God’s curse upon mankind. Before the fall there was peace and harmony with God. After the fall came the curse and men became violent and sinful in a world ravaged by death. God made a plan to restore mankind to Himself by using one man, Abram, and his family. Through his line came Jesus our Savior who took the curse of death upon Himself. Those who choose Jesus are freed from the curse forever.Freedom from the curse means that Christians will be able to be healed and nourished by the Tree of Life in the New Heaven and New Jerusalem. We are saved by grace rather than by works.
