Thorncliffe is the big experienced fella that took on Thorfinn on a One Vs One which Thorfinn Lost. As he was the smaller build yet also inexperienced fighter compared to the enemy he had taken a lost in this fight but also a blow to his feelings due to him not being able to take the head of thorncliffe so he could be able to get another chance at Askeladd for one vs one.
