Kugisaki Nobara's Motivation for coming to Tokyo city and joining the Jujutsu Sorcerers happens to be because she has a long lost friend from Tokyo! This information isn't told to her Teammates as of yet but in Episode 3 we finally got to see the abilities she is capable of doing to a cursed Demon.
