Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Barry Oreck (www.barryoreckmusic.com)and Jesse Miller visited Ron Olesko to perform live and share songs from Barry's new CD "How the Bright Earth Spun". Barry discusses growing up in the Chicago folk and blues tradition studying with folk luminaries at the famed Old Town School of Folk Music and soaking in the exploding blues scene. Barry has had a long career in music, dance, and performance art as well having a doctorate in Educational Psychology and working as a writer and educator in the arts and gifted education.Originally broadcast on WFDU-FM on 1-20-19.
