Before we can love others rightly, we must first see our own need for mercy and trust our Father who gives good gifts. The Golden Rule isn’t about earning God’s favor — it’s a response to already receiving it. When we rest in His goodness, we’re freed from self-focus and empowered to love others the way Christ loves us.
