It's a time to be BOLD! I heard the Lord say, "It's time be be Bold." It's not a time to withdraw. Many of us are going through transition. When we are going through transition we have a tendency to withdraw. The disciples in John 20 were in a state of transition after Jesus died. They locked themselves inside because they feared the Jewish leaders. Not going out, not letting anyone in. If we're not bold in this season we will let fear lock us up in a prison of the past and never transition into the new. Elijah defeats and kills the prophets of Baal. This should have created greater momentum in the kingdom, but when Jezebel hears the prophets of Baal are dead she threatens Elijah's life. Elijah, instead of going after Jezebel, runs and hides. It was a time to be bold, but he retreats. Elijah refuses to press forward and he goes and hides. When God finally gets Elijah's attention he is told to go anoint his replacement, Elisha. If you're not bold in this time don't be surprised if God rises up your replacement to do what you were supposed to. Proverbs 28:1 tells us "The wicked flee when no man pursueth; But the righteous are bold as a lion." We must stop hiding and stop withdrawing! Be bold as an lion, so you can transition into your new!!
