Mike D’Elena has been working for himself for 15 years, first with a custom apparel company, then in real estate, with some overlap between. He’s used to a sales cycle, and he’s used to hustling — “... because if you don’t, you don’t make money.” In the last few years, as branch manager for a realty company, he’s hired six staff members to specialize in areas that free up some of his time. But that’s taught him another valuable lesson: “If you work less but don’t do anything with the time that opens up, it’s pointless.” Mike credits a business coach with helping him track and optimize his time, and he’s willing to share what he’s learned with you.
