The second to last week of the regular season saw the OC Riptide alternate between wins and loses and ended the week 2-3. Despite playing below .500 baseball, the Riptide remain solidly in second place in the CCL South Division standings behind the Santa Barbara Foresters.The Foresters have opted to not participate in the CCL playoffs which equates to the Riptide sitting in second place makes the team the top seed in the south division and in good position to either the wild card or the divisional championship games. The Arroyo Seco Saints currently trail the Riptide by a half game which makes the Wednesday, July 26th game hugely important.
