Dan found his identity in baseball early on in life. Striving for success and the approval of others was of utmost importance. When his dreams of playing professional baseball failed and successes in business didn't take him far enough, Dan found himself considering suicide. As Dan moved from being a fan of Jesus to a true follower, his perspective on sports, success, and acceptance radically changed. He now knows he is fully accepted in Christ despite his successes or failures and encourages others to find their ultimate fulfillment in Christ as well.
