Listen "New Reporting Processes for Mammograms"
Episode Synopsis
New guidance from the Food and Drug Administration could change what women are told after having their annual mammogram. It has to do with the density of breast tissue -- and new mandatory reporting requirements. Dr. Wendie Berg, a diagnostic radiologist at UPMC and professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine joined Rick Dayton to talk about the changes.
