Have you noticed how the Bible presents us with a counterintuitive thought? I am talking about the idea that if you want to get ahead in life, making yourself the priority will not help. Rather, they can accomplish greatness by minimizing one's self. It is a bit of a strange idea, but this principle, humility, is the foundation on which all other Biblical virtues like patience, love, and self-sacrifice can build upon. And this is the theme for this week's message.
