In this next sermon in the series 'Know with Certainty' Zane Elliott walks us through Chapter 9, focussing on verses 18-36, 44-51.Right through the first nine chapters, Luke has been pointing us to Jesus’ identity. The big question, on everyone’s lips has been “who is Jesus?” its the question even Herod was asking in v.7, which goes to the heart of the chapter. Today, we’ll see the definitive answer in i) Peter’s Confession in vv. 18-27. Then we’ll come to ii) God’s Confirmation of who Jesus is in the transfiguration vv.28-36,  and iii) Jesus’ Expectation of what the answer means for him and his followers: vv.21-27, 44-51
