Listen "106. Sapiens (Brief History of Humankind) with Sanchit Arvind"
Episode Synopsis
Sanchit Arvind joins the show to discuss the book "Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind" by Yuval Noah Harari. In this episode, we'll summarize the four parts of the book/human history.
1. Cognitive Revolution
2. Agricultural Revolution
3. Unification of Humankind
4. Scientific Revolution
This is the first of two episodes we’re recording on Harari’s books. The second will be on "Homo Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow" a few weeks from now. We’re thinking about turning it into a book club. If you're looking for some new reading, "Homo Deus" will be next and "A History of Future Cities" by Daniel Brook will follow it.
