Episode Synopsis
Khalid Sabree was born in Harlem and grew up in the projects. His parents came from the south and discovered Islam in New York City during the days of Malcolm X. In this interview, Khalid shares his personal story; how his family and community provided a haven from the Hell Up in Harlem.
