Meet Billie Asmus - founder of Repaint Studios. After doing a google search for some re-useable paint supplies and seeing there were none on the market - she invented a re-useable silicone paint tray prototype from a Hollywood silicone mold. Once the first prototype was created she knew she was on to something. After a year of doing pitch competitions and getting the door slammed in her face by manufacturers - she got her product into Lowes retails stores - with no inventory to begin shipping. Her first manufacturer began stealing from her and she thought the whole business wouldn’t work. Then she got the opportunity of a life time to pitch her business on Shark Tank.Billie shares how her idea while paining her wall has turned into an enterprise with a warehouse, employees, and becoming business partners with celebrity investors all in just a few years.
