Episode Synopsis
In today's Rejecting the Screen, part of the Locked On Podcast Network, Noah Coslov and Adam Stanco get into why this week is such a significant one for the NBA in the battle for TV ratings (:15). Thursday night's TNT doubleheader of Lakers vs. Bucks and Rockets vs. Clippers will have to make up for Luka Doncic missing national TV games against the Bucks, Celtics and Sixers. Then, given the attention around Bronny James' HS game on Saturday with Sierra Canyon, the guys talk about how he may be received in the NBA versus how Steph Curry has been, since Steph has never been fully respected because of his upper class upbringing (11:00). And in Open Gym, Adam's pumped about watching NBA Draft prospects face off on Saturday when Obi Toppin (Dayton) plays against Colorado's Tyler Bey. Also, Noah lays out his experience broadcasting games for Sierra Canyon when Marvin Bagley was at the school (26:15)Rejecting the Screen is released on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
