Listen "Day After Reckoning Washington Commanders squeak by Atlanta Falcons 24-16"

Episode Synopsis

Atlanta had a 5 game home winning streak dating back to last year and Desmond Ridder had not lost at home dating all the way back to college.  However, Washington used a resilient defensive effort and forced 3 interceptions on their way to ending their own 3 game losing streak.
For the first time this year the special teams played an important role.  Jamison Crowder had a big punt return and Tress Way was back to his usual self.
Defensively Washington had to endure 83 plays. But still they only surrendered 16 points.  Interceptions by Kendall Fuller, Benjamin St-Juste and Jamin Davis were crucial in leading the defense.
Sam Howell was effective in the first half and threw for 3 touchdowns.  He targeted Terry McLaurin 11 times and was pretty sharp most of the game although he was sacked another 5 times and is still on pace to shatter the all-time sack record.
Overall they got a win which evened their record to 3-3.  Now it’s on to New York.  Let’s goooooo!
