The City of Henderson became a city in 1953 and has continued grow and develop ever since. The residents and families that were here from the start established a community that so many continue to call home today. Many of these families who still call Henderson home have shared with us their stories of what it was like growing up in the southeast part of the Las Vegas Valley.Today's interview is from a lifetime resident and the City of Henderson's current mayor, Michelle Romero.  Michelle shared many of her memories and experiences of growing up in Henderson and what it has meant to her and her family.
