People resist grief. Do you let yourself feel grief? This week in our Bible in a Year reading plan we have entered into the prophetic book of Jeremiah.  Jeremiah is famously known as “The Weeping Prophet.” He mourned over the sin of Israel and the judgment they faced from God.  On Sunday we will look together at Jeremiah 9:17-26. It is a text that challenges us not only to grieve, but also to boast. In preparation for the service and sermon, reread and sit with that passage and consider how we can practice both grieving and boasting, and how Jesus Christ leads us in both of them. I look forward to worshiping with you this Sunday! Pastor Adam
