Listen "So, What’s The Plan in 2025: Setting Personal Goals and Success Metrics"
Episode Synopsis
I’m officially a nerd and over achiever! I’ve written my personal plan for the second year in a row. And we thought I was just sucking up to my bosses all those years—turns out I DO love writing strategies and implementation plans!
So, what’s on the docket for 2025? I have a few exciting adventures that align with my mission to inspire and connect with others in recovery. This year, I’ll focus on writing my book—a memoir (that sounds so classy), growing my Etsy store, and reviving public relations efforts to expand the reach and impact of my message.
My book, which shall be nameless until a brilliant title comes to mind, shares my experience, strength, and hope in dual recovery and how my sobriety program gives me hope through stroke recovery. During my stroke, I lost the ability to communicate my thoughts. This book is dedicated to all those in recovery who have lost their voice, are searching for it, are afraid to use it, and are learning how to use it again.
There are so many people among us who suffer from invisible illnesses. Unseen on the surface, they work incredibly hard to achieve what comes easy for others. This book gives a voice to that which is unseen, so that it can be heard.
So Goal 1 is to complete the at least the first draft of my book by the end of the year. And now I am accountable! More on my Etsy store tomorrow.
