Originally hailing from Tehran, Iran, Rublez N Pence (Roozbeh Nayeri)'s nomadic pilgrimage to his home-base in Toronto, has taken him across Europe and North America. Living in Istanbul, Texas and Vancouver over the years, his musical influences are as varied as the many places he's called home.
Djing and promoting in Toronto since 2012, Rublez has had the opportunity to play alongside many talented selectahs. These include Medicineman, Nature of Music, Aquatic Mind, LeeLee Mishi, TAKiN, Richard Brooks, Joel 'Cortex Enterainment' Dubin, Mark Baker, VETEZE, Danny Thrax, Jad AD, Dick Diamonds and Talal & Zoi. Most recently, he's has opened for notable artists Frankie Bones and Estroe.
Though his roots are in Hip-Hop, RnB and Soul, Rublez has been consumed by their intersection with Garage, House and Techno since 2006. Some of his biggest influences include Mark Farina, Chaos In The CBD, Joe Hertz, Hannah Wants, Justin Martin and Flava D. With a relentless hunger for all sounds offering deep, melodic, vocal, and booty bass elements, Rublez is known for keeping the flow diverse and the dance floor moving.
