We used to believe that all fats were bad, but now we know differently. As I mentioned in my recent blog post and podcast episode, healthy fats are actually great for you. Fats are nutrients just like proteins and carbohydrates. Just like your body needs those other nutrients, it also needs fat. It uses fat for energy, absorbing vitamins, and protecting your heart and brain.
