Listen "PRIDE! Colorado’s LGTBQ+ past, present and future"
Episode Synopsis
Pride is a month-long celebration rooted in protest and authenticity. Denver has one of the largest Pride festivals in the country. This week, we’re having a real talk about Pride in Colorado with the organizer of Denver Pride, as well as an artist exploring the current LGBTQ+ culture across the country. And we travel to Boulder — to the epicenter of LGBTQ+ history there — to explore why it’s so important to remember those who fought for their rights decades ago.
Real Talk airs on CPR News and KRCC on Fridays at 3:30 p.m. and Mondays at 6:30 p.m. The TV show airs on Denver7 on Saturdays at 5:30 a.m. and Sundays at 5:30 p.m. It also airs on Local3 on Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. and Sundays at 6:30 p.m.
