Listen "Equity in Colorado’s Great Outdoors"
Episode Synopsis
Exploring the great outdoors is why so many choose to call Colorado home. But for some, those wide-open spaces don’t feel as welcoming as they could. This week, we’re having a Real Talk on outdoor equity in Colorado. From the world-renowned ski resorts to the miles and miles of trails and spectacular mountain peaks, we’re looking at efforts to make our beautiful state more welcoming for all to enjoy. With Jasmine Bowman and Quincy Shannon of Ski Noir 5280, Outdoor Activist Nelson Holland, and Parker McMullen Bushman of Inclusive Guide.
Real Talk airs on CPR News and KRCC on Fridays at 3:30 p.m. and Mondays at 6:30 p.m. The TV show airs on Denver7 on Saturdays at 5:30 a.m. and Sundays at 5:30 p.m. It also airs on Local3 on Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. and Sundays at 6:30 p.m.
