Ya'll we live in this society where it is the norm to not feel and if we do start to have any emotion that might be deemed "negative" we are taught to stop feeling that ASAP. Today we are going to cover why it's so important to feel your emotions, how to identify and STOP emotional eating, and how to ACTUALLY feel emotions all the way through. Here's what happens when we try to make our feelings go away by avoiding with food: -the stressful or unpleasant things don't go away - the negative emotions we avoid get STRONGER over time -we end up feeling "good" in a life we don't like vs. just having a life we are proud of and like ! - we limit our experiences in life by staying in a tiny emotional range If you can feel anything, good or bad, you can DO anything. You can go to a party and not have a plate of food to comfort you. You can feel vulnerable and put yourself out there as YOU. The world needs exactly who you are all of the time.
