In this episode we read about two tribes (later three), who requested land out side the promised land. Although Moses was at first angry, he agreed to it as long as they helped their brothers fight for the promised land. One thing I saw in this is that God has great things and higher levels in the Spirit to take us to, but He will not force us to go. My prayer is for God to take me to any level or place He has for me. We should continue to be willing vessels. Chapter 33 was a recap of their journey. But they were also given a warning that if they don’t completely drive out the enemy from their land, their enemy will become a problem for them and they (God’s people) would get the same judgment that was meant for the enemy. We should be obedient to whatever God tells us to do rather we understand it or not. Remember God can see down the road.
