In this Episode, we talked about how God destroyed all of humanity except 8 people. We also discussed how the things that were happening in Noah's day is happening now. We talked about the fact that God's judgment has not fallen on us because the iniquity (sin) is not yet full. In other words God is allowing sin to run its course before He pronounces His judgement on this Earth and all mankind. Another reason we discussed why God's judgement has not fallen is because of God's mercy and grace. He wants all who will repent and come to Him to have the opportunity to do just that. It is not His will that any should perish. God wants everyone to come to repentance. God will not force us to choose Him. We must choose Him before it is too late.
We discussed God's specific instructions for Noah and how Noah did everything God told him to do. The question was raised about our obedience to God. Do we do everything God tells us to do? Or do we pick and choose what is convenient for us to obey.
I am sure that in Noah's day, the people thought they had plenty of time. But we are reminded that the end of the world and Jesus return is known by no man, not even the angels. We talked about Jesus return being compared to the coming of a thief in the night...totally unexpected. Therefore, since we do not know the day or the hour of Christ return, we should always be in a state of readiness (having Christ in our heart and anticipating His return).
