Listen "“Destruction” Bible Series 13"
Episode Synopsis
This week we enter the darkest chapter so far: Judah’s fall and the Babylonian exile. We trace the history that led there, then pause to hear the raw voices of suffering: Jeremiah’s Lamentations and the captives’ song in Psalm 137. Yet even here, God plants seeds of hope: Jeremiah 29’s call to build, plant, and seek the city’s good, and Lamentations 3’s quiet courage. Finally, we look to Jesus—the Man of Sorrows—who meets us in grief and leads us toward resurrection hope.To contact Canterbury Baptist, email [email protected] To support Canterbury Baptist please give:— By Card or through PayPal click here.— By Direct Bank Deposit: BSB: 013345; Acc No.: 008615819; Name: Canterbury Baptist Church; Swift: ANZBAU3M— By BPay: Biller Code: 970384; Ref:11114Credits:— Opening Music: “Revive Us” by Joyspring (sourced through Epidemic Sounds)A video of this sermon is available at https://youtu.be/deDrFME3GHk
