Giving yourself the gift of a business meant giving herself more freedom to experience what true work-life balance is, to work without feeling mom guilt, to mother without feeling guilty about not working and much more. There was a dream life of balance that didn’t seem attainable until Keren realized that by working for herself, it was not only attainable but also a reality. Start Your Journey With A Plan If you’re thinking about starting a new career, launching a business or chasing your dream, Keren’s biggest piece of advice is to start with a plan. Your plan should include target dates and goals you want to achieve in that time, your financials in regards to what is necessary, attainable, and realistic, and to hold yourself accountable. It will be scary and maybe even a bit stressful, but having a supportive team around you and a plan in place will make it that much more achievable than if you didn’t.  Finding Your Tribe Keren and I found each other through a Facebook group and she says that most of her speaking engagements and collaborations are coming from Instagram simply by putting herself out there and engaging with other people.
