Ian McCabe is a leading expert in Quality 4.0 and the evolving landscape of assurance in the age of emerging technologies. With a deep understanding of how digital transformation is impacting traditional quality practices, Ian's work alongside colleagues from the Oakland Research Institute and The Chartered Quality Institute has focussed on understanding how quality management practices and the profession must evolve in order to thrive in this new era.Ian, has worked closely with Professor John Oakland, Professor Chew Yew Wong from Leeds University Business School and the CQI’s Head of Profession, Mike Turner to define Quality 4.0 and the CQI’s Eight Quality 4.0 Principles as well as frameworks and strategies to address the challenges of assuring complex systems, extended enterprises, and AI-driven processes.
