Listen " Granny’s Place: Promoting Family Values & Empowering Messages "
Episode Synopsis
I had a great time discussing “Granny’s Place” with some of the cast and screenwriter/producer Lydia Wright-Hamilton. The movie is about a grandmother who suddenly has to raise her granddaughters, and how her vintage values clash with modern-day realities. We chatted about where the idea for the movie came from, and the roles played by Bishop Corletta Vaughn, Bishop Eric Lloyd, and Randall Johnson, who were in the studio with me. Wright-Hamilton emphasized the importance of having a movie with a strong message without using unnecessary violence or vulgarity.Granny’s Place Official Trailer
