Music Masala - A Spicy Blend of Music and Life is an exciting Radio 4EB project! Over a period of six months, project staff spent days traipsing around south-east Queensland, discovering not just the music, but the passions and lifestyles of 11 culturally diverse artists. Amela is a Bosnian born singer-songwriter currently based on the Gold Coast. The direction of the song ‘Slow Motion’ was inspired by recently joining Bosnian folk band Cardak which she felt deeply connected to and wanted to bring an element into her current original pop songs. Her latest successes include high community radio play and renowned hip-hop artist Allday sampling one of her songs. This is the full interview with Amela as part of the Music Masala Project.
