Listen "How to Judge The Spirituality of A Nation or of A Society?"
Episode Synopsis
Factually, in the Vedic civilization, when it was true, unless you were qualified to be a brahman, you did not want to be a brahman. Because it was most difficult. A brahman was not allowed to own anything practically, he was not allowed to be employed, he had to go and beg alms like a humble bagger and whatever people gave him, he had to give to the people in need. He didn’t keep anything for himself. He had to have complete control of his senses. Now, there is not a single ksatriya, vaishya, sudra who wants to live like that. Therefore, when they saw someone with such genuine characteristics, they adored him, they worshiped him, they loved him and they followed him. When they saw such humility and such compassion and such mercy, they were willing to give their lives for such great souls.
