Goswami Maharaj had such a deep desire to please Srila Prabhupad. “yasya prasadat bhagwat Prasado yasya prasadan nagatiku to pi” he really had complete faith in this principle. He would be willing to do anything, go anywhere, take any risks, to please his beloved spiritual master. And because Srila Prabhupad saw this in him, such unconditional dedication, he personally trusted him in the most difficult, important and crucial issues of our society. It really is the perfection of a disciple. When the spiritual master has so much faith, so much trust in you that he can do anything and knows that you will never leave him, anything in Krishna’s service of course. When the spiritual master has so much faith in your integrity, your honesty, your loyalty, that he can literally entrust you to do anything, anywhere and have complete confidence. It was for this reason that Tamal Krishna Goswami was like Prabhupad’s right hand.
