Listen "Resting When God is Quiet"
Episode Synopsis
Resting When God is Quiet There are times when it feels like God is silent, distant, or even absent. In those moments, our hearts may grow restless, unsure of where to turn. But even in His silence, God is at work, and this is an invitation to rest in His presence. Psalm 46:10 tells us, "Be still, and know that I am God." This stillness isn't about doing nothing; it's about trusting that God is sovereign and in control, even when we can't hear Him. Rest comes when we release our anxious thoughts and lean into the quiet assurance that He is with us, working in ways we may not yet see. Resting in God's silence requires faith—the faith to trust in His timing and His plan, even when it's unclear. Remember, He promises to never leave us or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). So, instead of striving for answers, we can rest in knowing that He is there, holding us close. If you feel God's silence today, let it be a reminder that rest doesn't always mean peace on the outside. It means trusting God in the midst of the quiet and finding peace in Him.
