Sarah Sawyer is Senior Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Sussex. She has published on externalism and singular thought in the philosophy of mind, on proper names and fictional terms in the philosophy of language, on self-knowledge, epistemic warrant and scepticism in epistemology, and on judgement, motivation and reasons in metaethics. She is on the executive committee and council for the Royal Institute of Philosophy, is Publications Officer of the Mind Association Occasional Series and is an Associate Editor of the Australasian Journal of Philosophy.
