John Moorehead founded The Punchline Comedy club in Hong Kong in 1994\. It was an immediate success, attracting enthusiastic audiences to shows by renowned comedians from UK, Ireland, USA, Australia and Canada.
The Hong Kong venture was quickly followed by venues in Shanghai (John took the first comedian to China), Tokyo, Bangkok, Singapore, Dubai and Vietnam.
John has had experience as a presenter on Asian TV on The Star TV Network and was in fact a familiar face on Asian TV.
