Hello, and welcome to 'Pod Only Knows'.  I'm Dominic Pates, and this is the first in an occasional podcast series of readings from selected personal writings. I'm using this series to explore the medium of podcasting. The first episode is a reading of a piece that was mostly written in Amsterdam in early 2020, as Britain was on the way out of the EU and just before the Coronavirus pandemic fully hit.
