The seven brothers and their mother in 2 Maccabees show unwavering commitment to God even in the face of death. Jesus’ parable of the talents reminds us that the Kingdom of God requires us to actively use the gifts He entrusts to us.MAIN POINT: Faithfulness Requires Active Stewardship (Luke 19:11–28; 2 Macc 7:1, 20–31).God entrusts each of us with gifts time, talent, resources, and faith. True faithfulness is shown not by passivity, but by actively using what God has given for His glory.At work or school, give your best effort, even when unseen. Use your talents to serve others teach, mentor, or assist those in need.
