Here is what we discussed in week 11 of the podcast:Phillies and Phans come together to raise money for Hurricane Katrina victims. As donations at the gates reached over $80,000.00, the Phils front office also contributed and the club donated a total of $160,000.00 to the Red Cross this week. After being swept by the Astros, the Phils go on to win 5 out of 7Jimmy Rollins has really come around as leadoff hitter recently. In the midst of a 22 game hitting streak, Jimmy has helped to spark the club during the recent homestand. We'll look into J-Roll's numbers over the past few week.J-Roll and Kenny Lofton 1-2 punch. A few games this week we saw Rolllins and Lofton combine to score runs on a 1-2 punch. Lofton and Rollins got it done with aggressive baserunning and small ball, something that these 1 and 2 hole hitters must continue to do in the month of September.
