Episode Synopsis "EP05 The Day the Sun Went Out"
Join Peachy Koi for another summary of a Japanese story. I cover the story of Amenoiwato, a famous story in Japanese that tells the tale of the time Amaterasu went into hiding from her brother, Susanoo. The story is filled with characters and various Gods who hatch a plan to lure Amaterasu out of hiding and back into her rightful position as ruler of the Heavens. Included below is a list of names of Gods and Japanese terms that have appeared in this podcast as well as references to the works that I used to help make this podcast available to you. The works are in Japanese, but if you can read Japanese and would like to support the original authors, I highly recommend doing so! If you would like to get into contact with me with just a comment or question, feel free to reach out to me at [email protected] or https://anchor.fm/peachykoi . I will consider some social media options in the future!
