The time between Thanksgiving and Christmas is a time filled with shopping, parties, Christmas music and way too much sugar. It is also a time of waiting. Waiting for Christmas morning. Waiting for a special gift. Waiting to see how certain family members will act during the holidays. Waiting for the year when we feel the hope, peace, joy, and love that we are told comes with Christmas. In Christmas Light, we will explore the themes of the Advent season, a time of remembering how the people were waiting for the arrival of the Messiah, and how we now wait for His return.
